On June 12, 2013 within the celebration of the Day of Russia performance of the Russia musical band with the vocal soloist Rada Ry (Moscow) will take place on the Central square of Tskhinvali. Best songs with element of Russian folklore and pinching soul Russian-Gipsy romances will be included into the program of the concert named “Territory of Love”.

The program of cultural exchange activities between Russia and South Ossetia in 2013 is a full-scale joint project of the Ministries of Culture of Russia and South Ossetia and is a continuation of cultural programs successfully held in 2011 and 2012 in the territory of these two countries. The program includes a concert and educational events with the participation of leading artistic companies and soloists of both states.
May 9, 2013, within the celebration of the 68th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, concerts of the creative team "Discomafia" from St. Petersburg opened the program of exchange cultural activities in 2013 in South Ossetia.
In 2013, within the Programme in South Ossetia are planned concerts with participation of Russian pop stars, famous Russian rap artists, master classes of specialties of staging too. Performances of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of South Ossetia "Simd", Drama Theatre of South Ossetia, as well as of young performers of pop music are planned to be held in Russia.
The cultural exchange activities in 2013 are aimed, first of all, at the development of cultural relations,at the representation of various genres of contemporary performing arts of Russia in South Ossetia, as well as at the familiarization of the Russian audiences with the contemporary art of South Ossetia.
The development of cultural cooperation, exchange of experience, ultimately, helps to strengthen the mutual understanding between our peoples, increase mutual interest and trust, and is an important factor in strengthening the relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia.
