Festival of Choral Art in Columbia AMERICA CANTAT 7

From March 22 to 31, 2013, RUS ART Productions, with support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, presented the Russian folk choir SLAVIC TUNES at the festival of choral art AMERICA CANTAT 7 in Colombia.

On March 25, the choir performed at the Teatro Estudio Julio Mario Santo Domingo in Bogota.

With participation of the Embassy of the Russian Federation, the choir also presented concerts for its fellow countrymen in the National Museum and the Russian Cultural Center in Bogota.

On March 27, it performed in the city of Zipaquirá, 49 km from Bogota, at the famous underground Salt Cathedral (Catedral de Sal de Zipaquira).

SLAVIC TUNES is an ensemble of the Russian State Musical Television and Radio Center. The ensemble splendidly maintains the unique traditions of Russian vocal folk art in performances both within Russia and abroad. Artistic director of the ensemble is Alexander Darmastuk.

The choir’s performances always receive a positive response from audiences of all ages and nations and unite them in a love of Russia and its culture.
